如何区分near beside next to

1、near

adj. 近的，靠近的   adv. 接近地，不久，很快   prep. 在....附近，靠近

vt. 接近，快到（某个阶段或时间）  vi.(重要时刻或事件等）临近

near和nearer通常不用于名词前；nearest可以用于名词之前或之后

eg. His house is near. 他的房子就在附近。

      Where is the nearest bank?  最近的银行在哪？

2、beside

prep. 在旁边，与....相比，紧靠，除...之外    adv. 在附近，况且，此外

eg：He sat beside her all night. 整个晚上他都坐在她的身边。（next to）

       My painting looks children beside yours.   和你的相比，我和画显得很幼稚。

3、next to

prep. 紧挨着，差不多，几乎，在...之后

eg：We sat next to each other. 我们紧挨着坐在一起。（beside）

       He knew next to nothing about farming.   他对耕作几乎一无所知。

        Next to her I felt like a fraud.  和她相比，我觉得自己是个骗子。
