give out用法

1、give out表示“分发”，可以接宾语。

例如： They gave out those books to  everyone here .  

被动语态的用法，如： Those books were given out to everyone 包惹 here.

2、give out 表示“用光；用尽”，属于诉慎不及物动词的用法，主语是物，不能接宾语，也不能用在被动语态中。

例如：Our ink is giving out.

          (我处仗案们的墨水要用尽了。)

同义短语为：run out 

3、give out指人时，表示“筋疲力尽”。

例如：They gave out when climing on the top of the mountain .
